Toro Exception
Inheritors
Types
The acceptor (Toro Gateway/Acquirer) rejected the transaction, potentially due to a validation error, or other reason.
Could not find an asset the SDK requires to perform an operation. For example resetting the device OS but the update files are not present in the application's assets directory.
Transaction was cancelled in-app by calling toro.cancelTransaction()
The Gateway returned a bad response. This is the fallback exception if the response did not contain a valid rejection message.
Something went wrong when trying to read the card. The issue may be with the card itself, or the terminal's hardware
Transaction was cancelled by the customer on the Miura device
An action is already in progress on the selected device.
Unable to connect to the selected device.
Connection was closed before the action could be completed on the device.
Generic error relating to a Miura device.
ToroClient.selectedBluetoothDevice or ToroClient.selectedUsbDevice are null, so the action cannot be performed.
The action requires a feature that the selected device does not have. For example a touch screen is required when attempting to capture signatures on the Miura device instead of in app.
Something went wrong while applying a device update during ToroClient.ensureDeviceReady.
Did not receive a response from the Gateway.
Generic error during a magnetic stripe transaction.
Received unexpected data in a Gateway response.
Something went wrong during a point to point encryption related operation.
The Terminal Management System (TMS) rejected the StatusReport. A StatusReport is sent when checking for device updates, or when executing a UpdateType.CONFIGURATION_UPDATE or UpdateType.REMOTE_KEY_INJECTION update.
Fallback exception for when the transaction is aborted and a more specific reason is not known.
Check you are not calling ToroClient.startTransaction when there is already a transaction in progress.
Generic error when something goes wrong during the transaction.
Card was not presented in time and terminal aborted the transaction.
Generic fallback error.
The card that was presented is not supported by the terminal (e.g. not EMV compliant).
